Like every year, water fun is one of the summer attractions at River Grove Children’s Island. Twice a week, each group gets to enjoy the ‘splash’ feature set up on our playground. Meanwhile, the oldest summer group – the Explorers – goes to Hawatha Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There’s no need to persuade anyone to join the fun – children run around the colorful sprinkler, splash in the water, and jump through streams of water. The cool water brings a lot of joy to the children, and as you can see in our photos, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a swimming pool 😊
