Educational Program
Early childhood is considered the most crucial developmental phase in a person’s life. That’s why we’ve created our own unique educational program, incorporating modern and proven methods. We focus on the holistic and uninterrupted development of each child, especially bilingual children. Our goal is to prepare young individuals for proper and harmonious functioning in preschool and later in American public schools.

Robinson Crusoe, one of my favorite literary characters, managed to create suitable conditions for a safe life when he landed on a deserted island. He built a comfortable shelter that protected him from all dangers, prepared a cultivated field, raised animals, and even made pottery.
It was Crusoe who gave me the idea to create my own island. An island where children – just like him – could find not only good care but also optimal conditions for proper development. And so, the first Wyspa Dzieci was established in Bochnia, the next in Krakow, and since 2008, Wyspa Dzieci has opened its doors to the little ones from Chicago and the surrounding areas.
- the main goal of our activities is primarily to develop and cultivate the sensitivity and individuality of our students, stimulating their creative thinking, creativity, and assertiveness through play and engagingly planned educational activities led by a highly qualified team of specialists
- among our staff are early childhood teachers, a speech therapist, a psychologist, and a dance instructor.
- all Wyspa Dzieci facilities are designed exclusively to stimulate the proper development of our young charges. Our offerings include, among others, art and theater classes, literary workshops, language exercises, math classes, and a preschool club for children of various ages and developmental abilities.
The most important thing for us is the child’s happiness, smile, and well-being, and we strive to ensure that our charges, following the example of Robinson Crusoe, find here not only optimal conditions for development and safety but also joy. Wyspa Dzieci continues to grow…
