On Monday, June 23, colorful SUMMER arrived at our River Grove Children’s Island!!! That day, we all spread out for a picnic on our playground. Suddenly, we saw a mysterious lady in a summer dress strolling by. No one doubted that SUMMER had arrived!!!
Mrs. Summer spread smiles that turned into warm sunbeams. Bringing with her signs of summer: cold lemonade, colorful ice cream, and the joy of the much-anticipated children’s holidays. Flowers and fruits filled her wicker basket – which shimmered with summer colors, radiating sunny, carefree summer fun!
